Clubs and Groups for Adults

Supporters for Education

This group is very active in the community supporting K-12 education.  They organize volunteers, raise funds for equipment, activities and programs and generally support our students in any way possible.  Contact Wendy at 701-724-3118 for more information.

Piece Corps

A group of people who get together weekly to make quilts that are donated to various groups in need. The group meets every Wednesday morning at 9:00am. No quilting/sewing experience necessary.  If interested, contact Nancy Forster or Shirley Kudelka.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

This is a group of people who gather to knit/crochet prayer shawls. The shawls are given to people who are hospitalized or otherwise need to know that we care about them. You do not need to know how to knit or crochet, group members are willing to teach anyone who is interested. We also supply all the yarn and can get the necessary crochet hooks and/or knitting needles to get someone started. All ages and experience levels welcome. Bible Study

Various topics, generally Wednesday afternoon during the school year, although other times/days would be offered if there was enough interest. We welcome anyone who is interested in exploring faith to join us. These groups are made up of people with varying levels of understanding when it comes to the Bible and/or faith. Even if you don’t own a Bible, you are welcome to join us. We only ask that you have an open mind and are willing to explore with us. Contact Trinity Lutheran Church 701-724-3349.

A second Bible study meets every Tuesday at 2:30 at Four Seasons Health Care Center.  This is a community outreach ministry and is open to everyone.  Contact Harriet Kadoun for more information. 701-724-3501.

Sargent County Historical Society

Dedicated to collecting, recording and preserving the history of Sargent County.  See our page on the Sargent County Museum for more information.

Ladies Auxiliary

In the spirit of service, not self.  The mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support the American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military and their families, both at home and abroad. For God & Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security. For more information about joining Unit 82 in Forman you can contact our membership chairman, Sharon Halmrast, 701-724-3114.

Sargent Central Booster Club

Forman Youth Group

A group of students in 7-12 grade who meet to participate in service projects (most recently, volunteering at a homeless shelter), fundraising events, and fun activities. Group meeting times vary. Contact Trinity Lutheran Church 701-724-3349.

Forman Friends 4-H Club

Coyote Soccer

A K-6 soccer league covering the Forman-Gwinner-Milnor area.  Youth practice once per week and have meets and jamborees.  Lots of fun for everyone involved.  Contact Dixie Bopp for more info:  701-724-3712.

Community Club

This is an organization similar to a chamber of commerce. This group is not currently active.

Forman Community Development Corp.

A group of local business partners and residents invested in the advancement of the community.  Contact Nathan Schlecht at forman Drug 701-724-6222, for more information.

Forman Golf Association

Mission: Provide golf course for the community.  95 Highway 11, Forman 701-724-3411 (In Season).

Forman Rural Fire Protection District

Established in 1976.  Meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM during standard time and 9:00 PM during daylight savings time.  Fire Chief, Clint McLaughlin 701-680-1514.

Sargent County Ambulance Service

The Sargent County Ambulance Service through volunteers have filled a gap in this county for many years. Its existence is because of those that in the past and present have given of time and energy to be of service to each of us, at a time when our need is highest.   Illness, accident, sudden health, they answer our calls with trained expertise and kind hearts.  24 hour a day/7 days a week/52 weeks a year service.  In Forman, contact Marwood Klein, 701-724-6241 x:134 or Cell # 701-370-0502.  In Milnor, contact Brian Tayer 701-427-5333.
